    We’re pleased to announce LTS Cakes as this months’ winners due to presentation, attitude, attendance and most of all actively promoting on social media.

    It was a difficult decision as there were a few traders who massively improved but LTS took the lead due to actively promoting the market on social media. LTS Cakes will receive a trophy and certificate awarded on this week. The trader of the month will receive a rent free week, and will also be featured in all our social media/ marketing campaigns.

    October’s trader of the month starts from 1st to 31st October and will be announced on 1st of November.

    Tudor Markets would like to thank all traders for their efforts and look forward to presenting the next new trader of the month!

    Amanda and Luke (AK Fruits) and their family run Hounslow market’s hugely successful fruit & veg stall.  We managed to catch them briefly between customers and asked them a couple of questions…
    Q:  How long have you had a fruit & veg stall?
    A:   We have had a market stall in Hounslow for 1 year,  but I (Amanda) have actually been trading all my life (30 years…)
    Q:  Which are the best fruits and vegetables you sell?
    A:   That’s a tough one but I would have to say our fresh satsumas and bananas.
    Q:  What is the best experience you encounter as a trader?
    A:   The best bit about being a trader is communicating with customers of different cultures.  Also, introducing our customers to new fruits.

    Kelly’s Ladies Clothing stall is one of Hounslow market’s newest additions but is already proving really popular with its great range of designer clothes at shoes at prices everyone can afford.
    Q:  What made you become a trader?
    A:   First of all, I was inspired by my parents as they were traders before. Secondly, I love dealing with the different cultures of customers. Thirdly, it is fun working with the stallholders in Hounslow as they are all really friendly.
    Q:  What is the best product you sell?
    A:  To be honest, every product I sell! For instance, my HB Espana sandals normally cost £150 but I sell them for only £10, as well as Gray & Osbourn trousers which normally cost £100 but I am also selling for only £10.
